Description

The NCDOT plans to reconstruct the existing interchange and approaches of I-74/U.S. 311 and N.C. 68 (Eastchester Drive) in High Point.

In an effort to support unanticipated turning volumes in and around that area, the interchange will be upgraded to allow for improved traffic-carrying capacity and reduced congestion on Eastchester Drive and the I-74 ramps. Cypress Lane and Gordon Road will also be realigned to improve the spacing and operation of the intersections.
